1. Purpose
This policy sets out the principles, eligibility, and expectations for hybrid working arrangements at Ransom Group Pty Ltd, supporting flexible work while maintaining the standard of delivery our clients expect.
2. Our approach to hybrid work
Ransom Group operates a role-based hybrid model rather than a blanket policy, given our work spans project delivery, client advisory, bid management, and site-based engagements.
Office/collaboration days
In-person availability for kick-offs, client meetings, bid workshops, and planning sessions.
Remote/flexible days
Home or flexible location for focused work such as document preparation, modelling, and tender writing.
Site-based work
Governed by the relevant project or client agreement, which takes precedence.
3. Eligibility
Available where the role can be performed effectively off-site, subject to performance, client and project requirements, manager approval, and suitable home working conditions.
4. Expectations of team members
Be contactable during core hours; attend in person for client meetings, site visits and milestones; maintain professional standards and confidentiality of client data; use approved secure systems; communicate availability changes in advance.
5. Equipment & technology
Ransom Group provides reasonable equipment and secure remote access. Team members maintain a stable connection and professional environment for client calls, and handle confidential data per our information security obligations.
6. Communication & collaboration
Managers set clear expectations for attendance and response times; a primary point of contact is nominated for client work regardless of location; regular check-ins support delivery oversight.
7. Performance & accountability
Hybrid arrangements don't change performance expectations — outcomes and client feedback matter, not hours observed.
8. Health, safety & wellbeing
Team members share responsibility for a safe home working environment and are encouraged to raise concerns with their manager.
9. Review
Reviewed periodically and may be amended at Ransom Group's discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable.
